Mission Statement

The Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth (TCCY) advocates to improve the quality of life for children and families and provides leadership and support for child advocates. 

Programs include:

  • Kidcentral tn 
  • KIDS COUNT
  • Council on Children's Mental Health
  • Early Childhood Well-Being/Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) efforts
  • Home Visiting Leadership Alliance
  • Second Look Commission
  • Young Child Wellness Council
  • Youth Transitions Advisory Council
  • This agency also serves as the State Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention's Juvenile Justice State Advisory Group and staffs regional councils on children and youth.
